Sport Is Where British Viewers Judge Us

It is the honest truth: nobody notices a well-delivered stream during a cookery programme. They notice it at 3pm on a Saturday, at 8pm on a European night, and at two in the morning during a title fight.

Our sports feeds are prioritised across the network for exactly that reason. Bitrate is held steady through the busiest windows of the British viewing week, and the scheduling desk adds temporary feeds around tournaments, finals and pay-per-view cards rather than leaving you to hunt for them.

Full domestic football coverage sits alongside rugby union and league, international and franchise cricket, the motorsport calendar, darts, snooker, golf and combat sports. If a fixture is being broadcast anywhere in the world, it is almost certainly on the wall.

The On-Demand Shelf

Beyond live television sits a video-on-demand library of more than 40,000 entries, sorted and searchable inside the app.

Broadcasters rebrand and reshuffle channels more often than you would think, so read this list as an honest snapshot of the wall this season rather than a fixed promise — and query the desk if one particular feed is make-or-break for you.

Questions About the Line-up

Can I request a channel that is not listed?

Yes, and people do it constantly. Email the desk with the channel name and the country it broadcasts from. If a feed is obtainable we usually have it added within a few days, and it then appears for every subscriber rather than just you.

Is there a programme guide?

There is. A full electronic programme guide populates automatically alongside the playlist, covering current and upcoming programmes with descriptions. Seven days of catch-up is available on the majority of major channels.

Can I hide categories I never watch?

Absolutely, and we recommend it. IBO Player has a Manage Categories setting that lets you switch off entire sections — most British households hide the bulk of the international groups, which trims 27,000 channels down to a list that fits on a couple of screens. The setup guide shows where that lives.

What picture quality do the channels run at?

UK, Irish and US feeds are predominantly HD and FHD, with headline sport and film channels carrying the highest available bitrate. Some international and niche feeds are SD, which reflects how the broadcaster themselves transmits rather than any limit on our side.
